About the project
We’ve started construction at the former health centre site in Duncan Street, Greenock, where we’re working with the Scottish Government and Inverclyde Council to deliver 64 new homes for social rent.
The development features a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom flats and houses and we’re building the new homes using our own in-house construction team. This gives us greater control over the build process and quality, as well as enabling us to start on-site sooner and deliver these much-needed new affordable homes more quickly.
Four of the flats have been specifically designed to accommodate people with a range of accessibility needs, while the site is close to the town centre with good access to local amenities and transport links.
The project is supported by a grant of £6.9m from the Scottish Government and will take around 18 months to deliver, with the first homes expected to be complete by early spring 2026.
