Watts Grove development site
Dear Resident,
We wrote to you in April to share our plans for the Watts Grove development site in your community.
We explained that the building on site is falling into disrepair and we need to begin demolition work, so we would be seeking permission from the Council to take down the existing structures.
The Council has approved the demolition and work has started. While we understand and acknowledge the local sensitivities relating to the site, this is a positive and necessary step forward that will benefit the whole community.
We have appointed a contractor, Keltbray to do this work for us. Keltbray is an award-winning demolition and site clearance specialist with over 50 years’ experience that has been awarded multiple Considerate Constructors site awards.
The works are expected to last six months and we will do all we can to minimise disruption.
Work will take place Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm and on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. No work will take place on Sundays. Access to the site will be via Gale Street Site and deliveries to the site will be arranged outside of peak times to minimise traffic disruption. To deter anti-social behaviour, security will remain on site throughout these works.
