Annual Gas Safety Check and Service
Our records show that it has been almost one year since your last gas safety check and service and your home is now due for this year’s check and service. As your landlord, Sanctuary Housing Association is legally obligated to carry out a gas safety check and service annually.
The annual gas safety check and service is vital for your safety. It is a legal requirement placed upon Sanctuary Housing Services Limited that you allow access to your property for the purposes of the annual gas safety check and service. There is a clause in your tenancy agreement to allow reasonable access to your property for such works to be carried out.
Gas appliances and fittings which have not been serviced can produce Carbon Monoxide. This is a poisonous gas which you cannot see, smell or taste. It is estimated that 50 people a year die from Carbon Monoxide poisoning.
