Sanctuary
In Chester, residents and staff created a wellbeing garden in Carter Street. Despite the rain, we planted shrubs to attract the bees and butterflies, installed insect and bird houses, and added benches for residents to sit, relax and enjoy the open space.
At Craddock Court in Malpas, we held a neighbourhood improvement day to renovate three separate garden areas and installed new benches for our residents and their families to enjoy.
In Liverpool, our staff organised two days of volunteering to improve Linear Park at Olive Mount, near to some of our housing for older people.
The park needed a refresh to cut back shrubs, replace plants, repair paving, paint walls, and repair Olive, a statue in the park.
We also visited customers at home, carried out repairs and opened the community centre to provide refreshments and entertainment.
