Working together in Woodmancote

In Worcester, we’ve worked with our customers and community partners to develop a forgotten and neglected piece of land in a way that benefits residents and wildlife.

We asked the community how they would like to use the space and they came up with a plan that includes a wildflower meadow, wooden planters and features for wildlife.

Now the local school’s eco-club is using the space, residents are getting involved in regular litter picks, and the Wildlife Trust is supporting the community with plans to increase biodiversity.
