Craig Moule, Group Chief Executive of Sanctuary, said:
“We welcome the extra £2bn top-up for new social and affordable homes. This is a positive move from Government that provides certainty for our planning and will enable us to accelerate our housebuilding programme.
“We will be reviewing our programme to understand what sites we can bring forward at pace and will be discussing these with Homes England. Our initial expectation is that sites outside of the capital may be easier to progress more quickly."
