This year's lantern parade through Shiregreen in Sheffield will take place on Saturday 18 November starting at 4.30pm from St Christopher's Church on Bellhouse Road.
The parade will travel through the streets of Shiregreen to the golf club in Concord Park. If you’d like to make your own lantern, then pop along to our free community lantern making sessions. The first one is being held on Saturday 4 November in the continental suite at Concord sports centre from 11am until 3pm.
The second free lantern making session is on the day of the parade at St Christopher’s Church between noon and 3pm.
This parade is organised by the Friends of Concord Park and Woolley Woods group and follows on from the success of last year. It’s another example of Sanctuary working closely with residents and the council to bring some fun to our fantastic community.
