Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire

We have successfully delivered a major regeneration project in Cumbernauld which has seen the town’s 12 tower blocks replaced with 588 high-quality new homes.

Working in partnership with the Scottish Government and North Lanarkshire Council, we demolished a dozen high-rises and regenerated four sites across Seafar and Kildrum over a ten-year period.

The final phase of the £100m project saw the completion of 131 affordable flats and a local office at Burns Road in 2023, which is now a home to more than 200 residents.

Alongside the homes we carefully designed the landscaping, improved pedestrian routes across the site and created new, welcoming outdoor public spaces.

Another feature of the site is the unique curved form of one of the blocks, which responds to the oval shape of the surrounding highways and provides a new signature landmark for Cumbernauld.

We are proud to have completed a diverse range of development and regeneration projects in communities across England and Scotland.
