Residents who receive certain benefits, including Pension Credit, could get an extra £25 during cold weather.
If you qualify you’ll be given the Cold Weather Payment when UK temperatures drop below zero for seven days in a row.
You could get the extra payment if you receive any of the benefits below:
- Pension Credit
- Income Support
- Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Universal Credit
- Support for Mortgage Interest
