An update on building safety inspections and EWS1 forms

Residents may have heard news regarding the sanctioning of a fire engineering company, Tri Fire, which provided a number of fire safety assessments for Swan Housing Association before it joined Sanctuary.

We are currently reviewing any inspections previously carried out by Tri Fire and will be writing to residents in those buildings to explain what will happen next and when.

We’re also aware that some lenders are rejecting EWS1 forms issued by Tri Fire and that this may cause complications or delays for leaseholders and shared owners when remortgaging or selling their homes.
