Sanctuary
Sanctuary and Johnnie Johnson Housing (JJH) are excited to announce that they are in the early stage of discussions to enter into a business combination. Both organisations are now in the process of completing detailed due diligence and any agreement to proceed will be subject to the approval of both their Boards.
Craig Moule, Sanctuary Group Chief Executive, said: “Our customers are at the heart of all we do, and the interests of both Sanctuary and JJH residents will be at the forefront of our decision-making as we conduct due diligence and continue our discussions.
“As a national not-for-profit provider of affordable housing and care, Sanctuary has a unique role to play in ensuring the continued provision of these critical services to society.”
Yvonne Castle, Johnnie Johnson Housing Chief Executive, said: “We always look to do best, what matters most, for our residents. We believe joining Sanctuary will allow us to fulfil our ambitions and invest more in our residents’ homes than we could, on our own. As always, the interests of our own residents and those of Sanctuary will remain our top priority as we progress with these exciting discussions and robust due diligence. It’s a fantastic opportunity for both organisations.”
